- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup fresh spinach or basil (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil salted water and cook pasta shells until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and cool.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, half the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, spinach/basil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
