- 3–4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 lb linguine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: Chop garlic and parsley. Boil water in a large pot.
- Cook the pasta: Add linguine to boiling salted water; cook until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and reserve some pasta water.
- Sauté the chicken: Melt half the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook seasoned chicken until golden brown (5-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and let rest.
- Create the sauce: In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant (1 minute). Stir in heavy cream and soy sauce; mix until slightly thickened.
- Add flavorings: Mix in lemon juice, smoked paprika, and Italian seasoning. Taste for seasoning.
- Combine: Slice rested chicken into bite-sized pieces, return to skillet with cooked linguine, and mix well, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
