  • ⅓ cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in milk and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in blueberries, taking care not to crush them.
  7. Mix brown sugar with a bit of flour and cinnamon; sprinkle over the batter.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown.
