Description

Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine is a creamy, indulgent pasta dish featuring tender chicken and vibrant flavors, perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by chopping garlic and parsley.
  2. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt half of the butter. Add seasoned chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes each.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Lower the heat and add heavy cream and remaining butter. Stir until melted; add lemon juice.
  6. Toss drained linguine into the skillet with the sauce, mixing well and adding reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
