Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley or basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Mince garlic and measure out cream.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Stir in minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and lemon juice. Stir well, scraping up any bits from the skillet.
  5. Boil linguine according to package directions until al dente, then drain.
  6. Toss the cooked linguine with the sauce in the skillet along with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
