Description

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup whole milk (warm)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries (or thawed frozen)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk in a bowl and mix with sugar and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Gradually add flour and salt; knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour, until doubled.
  4. Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the filling.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly and sprinkle raspberries on top before rolling tightly.
  6. Slice into rolls about 1 inch thick; arrange on a greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
