Description

Cheesy Asparagus Casserole is a creamy, comforting dish packed with fresh asparagus and gooey cheese, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Blanch the trimmed asparagus in boiling water for 3 minutes; drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Stir in half the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
  4. Fold the blanched asparagus into the cheese mixture until well-coated.
  5. Transfer to the prepared baking dish. Top with remaining cheeses and seasoned breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
