- 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Blanch the trimmed asparagus in boiling water for 3 minutes; drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Stir in half the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
- Fold the blanched asparagus into the cheese mixture until well-coated.
- Transfer to the prepared baking dish. Top with remaining cheeses and seasoned breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
