  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip (thawed)
  • 1 box (14.4 oz) graham crackers
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth. Let it thicken for about 5 minutes.
  2. Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip until fully combined.
  3. In a baking dish, layer graham crackers to cover the bottom completely. Pour half of the creamy filling over the crackers, spreading evenly.
  4. Add another layer of graham crackers and top with the remaining filling. Finish with one last layer of graham crackers.
  5. For the frosting, beat softened butter until creamy. Mix in cocoa powder and powdered sugar, adding milk as needed for a smooth consistency.
  6. Spread the chocolate frosting over the top layer of graham crackers and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
