- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with cloth, and let rise in a warm area until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Prepare the filling by mixing sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Roll out risen dough into a rectangle; spread with softened butter and sprinkle generously with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Roll up tightly from one long edge into a log shape; place in greased loaf pan.
