Description

Crockpot Mississippi Chicken is a savory dish that combines tender chicken with zesty ranch and rich gravy, simmered to perfection for an effortless comfort meal.


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.52 lbs)
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix (1 oz)
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix (1 oz)
  • 1 stick unsalted butter (4 oz)
  • 46 sliced pepperoncini or banana peppers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place boneless chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Cut the stick of butter into pieces and scatter on top of the chicken, adding sliced peppers if desired.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the chicken is tender.
  5. Shred the chicken directly in the pot using two forks, mixing well with the sauce before serving.
