With every bite, you’ll experience a harmonious blend of gooey mozzarella, zesty pizza sauce, and your favorite toppings—all nestled inside a tender, roasted pumpkin shell.


Ingredients

  • 2 small sugar pumpkins (about 2 pounds each)
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional toppings: pepperoni, olives, bell peppers (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice off the tops of the pumpkins and scoop out the seeds.
  2. Drizzle olive oil inside each pumpkin, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Fill each pumpkin with pizza sauce, then layer with shredded mozzarella and your choice of toppings.
  4. Replace tops on pumpkins and bake for 30-35 minutes until tender.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
