Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Alternately mix in dry ingredients and milk until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cake cool completely before frosting with a mixture of powdered sugar, butter, cream, and vanilla.
