- 1 packet (3 oz) lemon gelatin powder (or unflavored for white layer)
- 2 cups boiling water (divided)
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- Food coloring (as desired)
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, dissolve 1 packet of orange gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.
- In another bowl, dissolve 1 packet of unflavored gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Mix in sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Add food coloring to each mixture as desired for vibrancy.
- Pour about 1/3 cup of the orange mixture into clear cups and refrigerate for about 30 minutes until set.
- Once set, carefully layer 1/3 cup of the white mixture on top and chill for another 30 minutes.
- Repeat the layering process until cups are filled, then cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least two hours before serving.
