Description

Garlic Butter Bread Rolls are the ultimate comfort food, perfect for any meal. Imagine pulling these fluffy, golden rolls from the oven, their tops glistening with melted garlic butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups warm water (110°F/43°C)
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter (plus more for brushing)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and instant yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly. Add melted butter and salt.
  2. Gradually mix in flour one cup at a time until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap or a towel, and let rise in a warm place for about one hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the risen dough and divide into approximately twelve equal portions; shape each into balls.
  6. Place shaped rolls in a greased baking dish, cover with a towel, and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake rolls for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted garlic butter before serving.
