  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • Halloween sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and granulated sugar until glossy, then stir in cocoa powder and eggs until well combined.
  3. Fold in flour and a pinch of salt until just mixed.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. For the cheesecake layer, beat softened cream cheese, then gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
  6. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer, dollop remaining brownie batter on top, and swirl gently.
