Description

Caramel Apple Cheesecake is a delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake, tart apples, and a decadent caramel drizzle. Perfect for autumn gatherings or any sweet occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups fresh Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
  • ½ cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tbsp sugar. Press mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese in a large bowl until smooth. Gradually add in remaining sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in sour cream, then add eggs one at a time, followed by cinnamon and nutmeg until blended.
  4. Sauté diced apples in a skillet over medium heat with a little butter and brown sugar until tender (about 5 minutes).
  5. Gently fold sautéed apples into the cheesecake mixture. Pour over the crust.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is slightly jiggly. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least four hours or overnight.
