  • 1 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 8 oz thick-cut pepperoni
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 package pizza dough (store-bought)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and sausage until browned, breaking apart as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Roll out half of the pizza dough on a floured surface to about ½ inch thick. Grease a pie pan with olive oil and press the dough into the bottom and sides.
  4. Layer the cooked meat mixture in the pan, followed by mozzarella cheese, then pepperoni slices.
  5. Cover with remaining dough, sealing edges well. Cut slits on top for steam to escape.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
