  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 8 oz thick-cut bacon
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 4 cups cooked pasta or tater tots

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook diced bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  3. In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned (about 6-8 minutes). Add onions in the last minute of cooking.
  4. Stir in mustard, ketchup, and pickles; combine well.
  5. In a baking dish, layer cooked pasta or tater tots at the bottom. Pour meat mixture over it and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
