- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 8 oz thick-cut bacon
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 4 cups cooked pasta or tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook diced bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned (about 6-8 minutes). Add onions in the last minute of cooking.
- Stir in mustard, ketchup, and pickles; combine well.
- In a baking dish, layer cooked pasta or tater tots at the bottom. Pour meat mixture over it and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
