  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for decoration)
  • Mini chocolate chips (for eyes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Combine with dry ingredients.
  4. Pipe the batter into the donut pan about two-thirds full.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
  6. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with enough milk to reach a thick consistency. Dip cooled donuts in glaze.
  7. Decorate with cocoa powder for faces using mini chocolate chips as eyes.
