Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk (whole or alternative)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mix using a spatula until just combined; lumps are okay.
  4. Preheat your griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on top—about 3 minutes.
  6. Carefully flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Repeat until all batter is used.
