  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just blended—avoid overmixing.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
