Description

Homemade Reuben Bake is a comforting and cheesy twist on the classic sandwich, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 slices rye bread
  • 1 lb deli-sliced corned beef
  • 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Layer half of the rye bread on the bottom of the dish. Top with half of the corned beef and sauerkraut.
  3. Sprinkle half of the Swiss cheese over the top and drizzle with half of the Thousand Island dressing.
  4. Repeat layering with remaining rye bread, corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and dressing.
  5. Brush melted butter over the top layer and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.
