Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup hot honey
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together hot honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add chicken thighs to the marinade and let them rest for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange marinated chicken in a single layer. Drizzle remaining marinade over the top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. For extra flavor, mix additional hot honey with red pepper flakes and drizzle over cooked chicken before serving.
