Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice
  • 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 ripe mangoes, sliced
  • Toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak glutinous rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Drain and steam the soaked rice for about 30 minutes until tender and sticky.
  3. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat; stir until dissolved without boiling.
  4. After cooking the rice, mix half of the coconut sauce with it while warm.
  5. Scoop the mixture into small cups, top with fresh mango slices and drizzle with remaining coconut sauce.
