  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter over low heat, then whisk in granulated and brown sugars until combined.
  3. Allow to cool slightly; add eggs and vanilla, whisking until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, sift cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt together.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter on top and swirl gently with a knife before adding the remaining batter.
  7. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top before baking for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
