Ingredients

  • 4 small pumpkins (46 inches in diameter)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded whole-milk mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup assorted toppings (pepperoni, olives, bell peppers)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Carefully cut off the tops of the pumpkins to create lids.
  2. Scoop out the insides and seeds until smooth; save seeds for roasting if desired.
  3. Spoon pizza sauce into each pumpkin until just filled. Top generously with mozzarella cheese.
  4. Sprinkle your favorite toppings over the cheese layer.
  5. Place stuffed pumpkins on a baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
