- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, flour, and a pinch of salt until crumbly. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
- While the crust bakes, whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and flour in another bowl until smooth. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Pour the strawberry-lemon filling over the baked crust and return it to the oven. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Allow to cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar and cutting into squares.
