  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 9 lasagna noodles (regular or no-boil)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook seasoned chicken breasts until golden brown (about 6-7 minutes per side). Shred once cooled.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant, then add marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, shredded chicken, half of the mozzarella cheese, chopped basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Layer a baking dish with marinara sauce, followed by noodles, cheesy mixture, marinara sauce, and remaining mozzarella; repeat until all ingredients are used.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
