Description

Loaded Baked Potato with Steak Bites is a hearty dish that combines fluffy baked potatoes topped with juicy steak bites, melted cheese, and fresh herbs for the ultimate comfort food experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large Russet potatoes
  • 8 oz sirloin or ribeye steak, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh chives
  • ½ cup full-fat sour cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Scrub the potatoes clean and pierce them with a fork.
  2. Bake the potatoes directly on the oven rack for 45-60 minutes until tender.
  3. While baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the cubed steak with salt and pepper; cook until browned (about 4-5 minutes).
  4. Once baked, slice open the potatoes and fluff the insides. Top generously with shredded cheese while hot to melt.
  5. Add sour cream, then top with steak bites and fresh chives before serving.
