Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping onions and mincing garlic.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the beef chuck roast for about 3 minutes per side until browned.
- Transfer the seared roast to a slow cooker. Add onions, garlic, and barbecue sauce; coat well.
- Cook on low for 8 hours until fork-tender.
- Remove the roast from the cooker and shred using two forks.
