Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 4 cups water
  • ¼ cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves (plus extra for garnish)
  • Lemon slices (optional)

Instructions

  2. Strain the hibiscus mixture into a pitcher using a fine mesh strainer, pressing gently to extract all the liquid.
  3. While warm, stir in honey or sugar until fully dissolved. Adjust sweetness as desired.
  4. Add 2 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir well. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  5. Before serving, add fresh mint leaves and lemon slices if desired. Serve over ice and garnish with additional mint sprigs.
