- 4 black tea bags
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup boiling water (for dissolving sugar)
- 3–4 fresh peaches, sliced
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Brew the tea: In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 4 black tea bags and steep for 5 minutes until dark amber.
- Prepare the peaches: While the tea cools, slice the fresh peaches into thin wedges.
- Sweeten: In a separate bowl, combine ½ cup granulated sugar with 1 cup boiling water. Stir until dissolved.
- Combine: Strain the tea into a large pitcher. Add sliced peaches and stir in ¼ cup lemon juice.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least an hour to let flavors meld.
- Serve: Pour over ice-filled glasses and garnish with mint leaves.
