Description

Get ready to wow your guests with these whimsical Skewered Salami Eyeballs! Juicy salami, gooey cheese, and tangy olives combine for a fun appetizer that’s perfect for any gathering. Easy to prepare and sure to elicit laughter, these quirky bites are not only delicious but also a great conversation starter at parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz thick-cut salami
  • 8 oz cheese cubes (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 12 pimento-stuffed olives
  • 6 wooden or metal skewers
  • Mustard (optional, for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients on a clean workspace.
  2. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  3. Thread one piece of salami onto each skewer, followed by a cheese cube and an olive. Repeat until skewers are filled with 3-4 eyeballs.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium heat or set the oven to broil at 425°F (220°C).
  5. Place the assembled skewers on the grill or a baking sheet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the cheese melts slightly and the edges of the salami crisp up.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with mustard if desired.
