Description

Ingredients

  • 34 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 Medium Onion, chopped
  • 3 Fresh Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 2 cups Low-Sodium Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (or half-and-half)
  • 1 cup Long-Grain White Rice
  • Salt, Pepper, Paprika, Thyme to taste
  • Bell Peppers or Peas (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping onions and mincing garlic.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic until translucent, about 3 minutes.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; stir to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Return seared chicken to the skillet and cover. Let simmer for 15-20 minutes until cooked through while cooking rice according to package instructions.
  6. Serve fluffy rice topped with the smothered chicken and enjoy!
