Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 oz phyllo dough (thawed)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Googly candy eyes (for decoration)

Instructions

  4. Bake meatballs for about 20 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
  5. While they bake, cut phyllo dough into long strips, keeping unused sheets covered with a damp cloth.
  6. Wrap each meatball in strips of phyllo dough; leave gaps for the mummy effect.
  7. Brush with olive oil and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown. Add candy eyes immediately after removing from the oven.
