  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 6 black olives (pitted)
  • Capers (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil the Eggs: Place eggs in a pot, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, cover and remove from heat; let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. 2. Cool the Eggs: Transfer eggs to an ice bath for about 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Prepare Filling: Peel the eggs, slice them in half lengthwise, and scoop yolks into a bowl. Mash yolks and mix with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. 4. Assemble: Spoon or pipe the mixture back into egg whites. Cut olives in half for bodies and slice additional pieces for legs; decorate each egg to resemble spiders.
