- 1 lb fresh salmon fillet
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 cup wood chips (hickory or apple)
Instructions
- Preheat your Traeger grill to 225°F (107°C) and add soaked wood chips.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the salmon in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Let marinate for 30 minutes.
- Smoke the salmon skin-side down on the grill for about 1 hour or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm or chilled.
